At 10:30 am on January 9, 2017, the capping ceremony was held for the eastern tower of Great Aim International Building, which was attended by Ye Zhen, deputy secretary of party committee of Hengqin New District, Liu Chenguang, head of the bureau of construction and environment protection of Hengqin New District, Yang Feng, chairman, Yang Zhixiong, vice chairman, Yu Daoqun, president, Zhao Riyun, administrative supervisor of Great Aim Group and Yao Zheng, director of marketing planning center, etc. The International Building consists of two parts, eastern tower and western tower. The western tower was capped on November 8, 2016. With the smooth capping of eastern tower, the International Building was capped and part of it will be put into use in 2017 and all of it will be put into use at the end of 2018.
It was reported that after the International Building is completed, it will be used as the headquarters of the group and carry the group to embark on a path of internationalization based on diversified development such as real estate development and high-tech R&D development. Meanwhile, to respond to the call of Hengqin New District to build an open, vital, intelligent and ecological island, Great Aim International Building will provide more settled enterprises with international and intelligent office environment and service with its international vision and innovative and technologicalstrength. The systems independently developed by the group such as optical positioning, shopping guide and navigation and reverse vehicle tracking for underground parking lots will also be put into use in the building. The application of the technology has filled a gap of China and even the world.
As introduced by Chairman Yang, 1.6 billion Yuan was invested on the project, which has a total floor area of more than 110,000 ㎡. Five floors of the underground floor area were not included in the plot ratio cover an area of over 40,000 ㎡. It is the project with the most underground floors in Hengqin New District up to date. The project adopts a design of two towers. Its V-shaped lines flow freely; its outer walls adopt an advanced light and shadow design, so it resembles flowing water and flying butterfly. The enchanting and spectacular light and shadow forms a contrast with the night-view of Zhuhai and Macau.
In the International Building, commercial facilities are deployed in its annex building, while office facilities are distributed in the towers. The division of functions is clear in a unified manner, and the deployment is orderly. The project adopts the "white light positioning" and communication system independently developed by Great Aim Group, with functions such as accurate indoor positioning, underground space navigation and reverse vehicle tracking. Yang Feng said, the International Building is not the largest nor the highest in Hengqin New District. However, considered from intelligence, it is the most complete in scientific and intelligent functions. For example, the application of white light communication has not only filled a gap at home, but also filled a gap in the world. Meanwhile, the project has also employed advanced concepts such as green architecture and smart environment protection, built vertical greening so that the office space is placed in a vertical garden. The project has won prizes such as a demonstrative project of green construction in the construction industry of Guangdong and a demonstrative project of green construction in the national construction industry.
As the headquarters building of an enterprise at the level of a hundred billion Yuan, the International Building will also be settled by several associate enterprises and entities. It's reported that the group has joined the financial sector of central enterprise through increase in capital and share at the end of 2016. Yang said, since it is still under an approval process, related details cannot be disclosed since a confidentiality agreement is involved.
On the capping ceremony, Chairman Yang said, the International Building would be the headquarters building of the group, and technical headquarters of the group's LED white light communication industry. As a development strategy of the group, white light communication industry will achieve a breakthrough in product R&D and a prominent effect in commercialization.
