Great Aim to Settle in "Daguanxi" and Boost Innovative Development of Yunfu發(fā)布時(shí)間：
After leaders of the group made several field inspection trips and a consensus was reached after a consultation between both sides, a Framework Agreement on Promoting Urban Construction and Operation of Yunfu was signed in Yunfu on August 8, 2012. General manager Yu Daoqun and Xiao Xiangrong, a leader of the people's government of Yunfu, respectively signed the agreement. The group took the first step towards "Daguanxi".
Known as "Daguanxi" of Guangdong, Yunfu has a total land area of 7,779.1 km2, among which there is cultivated land of 1.5236 million mu and paddy field area of 1.0393 million mu. In the total area of the whole city, mountainous areas account for 60.5% and hilly areas account for 30.7%. It is a typical mountainous city, or a city surrounded by mountains to put more vividly. In the city, hilly and mountainous resources are the main part of the city.
Yunfu is developing and growing rapidly with each passing day and is now in a key historical period of industrial development and urban reconstruction. It has become important topics for the people of Yunfu how to tap the city's development potential, enhance the city's comprehensive competitiveness, and operate the city more effectively and sustainably.
Urban development needs a correct mindset and strong external assistance. Just as pointed out by Huang Qiang, the city's party committee secretary and director of the standing committee of the municipal NPC, when he was inspecting Great Aim Group, the development of Yunfu needs the construction and investment of enterprises with strength, far-sight and aspiration like Great Aim Group. The government and enterprises should work together to enhance the city's values and usher in a bright future of the city.
Based on the current status of Yunfu and the city's environmental characteristics, with an aim to fully explore its existing resource advantages, Chairman Yang Feng of Great Aim Group led a team of experts and consultants to make a field inspection of Yunfu, to conceive and design the mentality for urban operation of Yunfu and come up with a theme of building "a characteristic and ecological Yunfu". Yang Feng believed that Yunfu should change its inherent urban concept, refine its innate advantages and turn the disadvantage of mountainous landform in the eyes of common people into an advantage of beautiful mountains. In the course of development, Yunfu shall comb and identify its characteristics different from the development of other cities. In its planning, Yunfu shall choose the best, do its best, adapt measures to local conditions, respect its ecological nature rather than copy the existing urban models that are unrealistic. Excessive development and repeated construction are equivalent to wasting of resources. Yunfu is abundant in mountainous and hilly resources. If it is planned, developed, beautified and utilized properly, and the urban layout is optimized and designed reasonably based on the mountainous landform, trying to enhance the urban lifestyle and healthy residence, it will "benefit the society and the future".
