Recently, good news was spread from ISA that the "underground parking lot's energy saving+ LED indoor navigation project" developed by the group for BOE Technology Building passed the review of expert panel and was ranked third among the "top 100 global semi-conductor lighting demonstrative projects in 2016".
By transforming the positioning LED lamps in the underground parking lot of BOE Technology Building and making use of its independently developed U-beacon system, it has customized a positioning and navigation scheme for the parking lot based on location information, with a positioning accuracy within 1 meters. It can save energy and protect environment, but also can solve problems such as difficulty to find a parking space and find the car for the users in a large parking lot. Meanwhile, it can effectively enhance the efficiency of management and operation of the parking lot and thus can be promoted extensively. For the said indoor positioning technology, the company has applied for dozens of intellectual properties and national and international patents.
It was learned that the "top 100 global semi-conductor lighting demonstrative projects in 2016" is a global public-benefit professional selection organized by International SSL Alliance since 2012, with an aim to promote the sustainable development of semi-conductor lighting industry and enhance the influence and exhibition value of semi-conductor lighting products by selecting applications of semi-conductor lighting R&D achievements and technical innovation, excellent designs, reliable products and excellent construction. The event was judged independently by a panel of 5-7 global senior experts.
The ISA is a non-profit international organization established in October 2010, which is composed of regional alliances, associations, famous universities and research institutes and leading enterprises in the field of semi-conductor lighting, with an aim to promote the extensive cooperation in the field of semi-conductor lighting industry among alliance members, between the alliance and government organs, inter-governmental organizations and non-governmental organizations. At present the alliance consists of 75 member units including several international semi-conductor lighting giants such as Philips, OSRAM and General Motor and over 4,000 secondary members, accounting for 70% of the mass of global semi-conductor lighting industry.
