On the morning of October 1,a total of 20 calligraphers from Chinese Calligraphers Association gathered together at the Cultural Corridor of Great Aim Central City in Longgang District,Shenzhen,where they celebrated the completion of the Cultural Corridor with writing brushes and ink.
At the opening ceremony,Yang Feng,Chairman of Great Aim Group and the investor of the Cultural Corridor,expressed that the completion the Cultural Corridor is a practical move of Longgang District and even the whole Shenzhen to respond to the national call to implement the Chinese traditional culture inheritance and development project and that it is another great event about Chinese traditional cultural inheritance after Great Aim Group donated 25 million yuan to support the“Calligraphy Inheritance?National Training for Primary and Secondary School Calligraphy Teachers”project.“We hope general public can gain new insights through the cultural forms and moral forms presented at the Cultural Corridor and we can make a contribution to the development of moral communities,cultural communities and harmonious communities.Meanwhile,we hope inheritance of calligraphy can be better publicized and promoted in Shenzhen,”Yang Feng said.
The Cultural Corridor was officially open to the public on October 1.Featuring elegant design,the Cultural Corridor is filled with a great number of woodcarving works of calligraphers.The Cultural Corridor not only allows people to be edified by traditional culture in communities but also adds contents to community cultural life.After the opening ceremony ended,the present calligraphers wielded their writing brushes to create works and gave the works to the community residents to make them more intuitively feel the charm of excellent Chinese traditional culture.
